Adamawa Police Command displays motorcycles, generators, other recovered items

The Adamawa State Police Command has commenced a display of stolen items which the Command recovered.

The recovered items currently on display include 11 motorcycles, one tricycle, two power generators, a TV set and some other items.

The Command says they are items operatives recovered and they are on display for owners to claim them.

“The Adamawa State Police Command wishes to inform members of the general public that some abandoned and unclaimed properties are still unclaimed,” the Command said in a statement passed to newsmen Tuesday by its spokesman, DSP Suleiman Nguroje.

The Command explained that the items were recovered by police operatives attached to Mubi South, Fufore, Kofare and Ganye divisional police headquarters during investigations between 2019 and 2020.

According to the statement, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Adams, urged members of the public whose motorcycles, generators, television sets and other items were stolen to claim them at the divisional police headquarters in Mubi South, Fufore, Kofare and Ganye.
