Trigger warning: if you were born in the 20th century, this will make you feel old.

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro said Wednesday that he believes “Space Jam” star LeBron James is the best player in franchise history over Dwyane Wade.

“I have to say LeBron James,” Herro said at the Jr. Heat Summer Camp in FTX Arena when asked who the best Heat player is. “I mean, you can’t go wrong. [Wade], [James], either or, but I feel like growing up for me [James] was probably my favorite player on the Heat.”

The 21-year-old snubbed Wade, a franchise icon who led the Heat to its first NBA Finals victory in 2006 and spent 14-and-a-half seasons of his 16-year NBA career in Miami.

Herro – born on Jan. 20, 2000 – was 6 years old in 2006 when the Heat won its first championship, but was in his teens when James took his talents to South Beach.

During James’ time with the Heat, the current Lakers superstar won two NBA titles – in 2012 and 2013 – and led his team to four straight Finals appearances with Wade from 2011 to 2014.

Herro, on the other hand, has been a productive player for the Heat in his two-year career, averaging 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting 43.4 percent and 37.5 percent from 3-point range.

His chance to become a franchise great himself, however, could soon be fading. There is a 75 percent chance or better that the Milwaukee native is traded this offseason, Five Reasons Sports Network reports.
