The confirmation was made by the Lagos State Minister of Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, in a tweet via his Twitter account on Monday.
According to Abayomi, Lagos recorded one coronavirus related death, while the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lagos as of Monday stands at 3521.
He tweeted: “COVID19Lagos update as at 24th of May, 2020.
“Public address loudspeaker148 new COVID19 Infection confirmed. Total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 3521.
“Public address loudspeaker31 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients; 12 females & 19 males were discharged after testing negative to COVID-19.
“Total number of COVID19 discharged patients is now 738.
“Public address loudspeakerLagos recorded one more COVID-19 related death. Total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Lagos now stands at 47
“Observing Physical Distancing is our collective responsibility. Let’s do it ForAGreaterLagos.”
