Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip get COVID-19 vaccine 1

The royal arms came out Saturday at Windsor Castle.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip rolled up their sleeves for their COVID-19 vaccinations, the Sun reported, citing Buckingham Palace.

The monarch, 94, and the Duke of Edinburgh, who’ll turn 100 in June, took their jabs from the royal household doctor.

“I’m delighted that Her Majesty the Queen & HRH the Duke of Edinburgh have received their COVID vaccine. We are defeating this virus jab by jab,” tweeted Health Secretary Matt Hancock.

Both royals are at the top of Britain’s priority list because they’re over 80. Buckingham Palace didn’t specify which vaccine they received — Oxford AstraZeneca or Pfizer-BioNTech.

The announcement surprised Brits because aides had described — repeatedly — the couple’s decision about when to be vaccinated as a “private matter,” the Sun reported.

Queen Elizabeth, though, wanted to share the news to spur her subjects to get their shots and to squelch any fears about the safety of the shots.

So far, 1.5 million Brits have been vaccinated. The UK has recorded nearly 3 million cases and roughly 80,000 deaths.
