Taylor Swift and her mother, Andrea, appear to have made a generous donation to a woman who lost her husband to COVID-19.

The pair gave $50,000 to the GoFundMe page of a Tennessee mom who was left destitute when her husband — and father of their five daughters — died of the disease, which has killed more than half a million Americans, organizers of the fundraiser said.

“I would like to especially say thank you to Andrea and Taylor Swift for your thoughtfulness and generosity from our homestate of Tennessee,” DeQuanda Smith, organizer of the online fundraiser, wrote Wednesday. “I appreciate the sweet personal note, it warmed my heart.”

The GoFundMe said that for Vickie Quarles and her kids, Alyssa, Anaya, Asia, Allie and Aryah, losing dad Theodis Ray Quarles was like losing the “MVP” of the family.

“While so many families have lost loved ones in 2020 for various reasons, this one reminded me of the unexpected loss of superstar NBA champion, Kobe Bryant,” the page said. “Except the MVP of this family of five daughters is Theodis Ray Quarles.”

Taylor and Andrea Swift made a $50,000 donation to a GoFundMe for Vickie Quarles, who lost her husband, Theodis Ray Quarles, to COVID-19.

Smith said in the GoFundMe’s description that she started the fundraiser to help offer the family financial relief and assistance with basic immediate needs.

“I am confident that their father, Theodis Ray Quarles, will be smiling from heaven when his little teacher, doctor, CEO, nurse or entrepreneur makes her mark in the world,” she wrote.

As of Wednesday, the fundraiser’s goal was set to $50,000 which means because of the Swifts’ donation, the family was able to surpass that benchmark.

A rep for Swift, 31, could not immediately be reached.

The pop superstar has been known for being philanthropic. In the past, she donated $13,000 to two moms facing eviction and $30,000 toward a young woman’s college fund.
