Dramatic police bodycam footage shows the moment Minneapolis cops shot and killed a man during a traffic stop Wednesday.

The footage, released by police in the Minnesota city on Thursday, shows one officer pointing a gun at a white sedan that begins to pull away from him at a gas station.

Another officer is heard yelling, “Stop your car!”

The cop wearing the bodycam then yells at the driver, “Hands up. Hands up.”

The white car pulls away in the snow but is cornered by three police vehicles.

“Hands up, police,” the officer with the camera is heard yelling. “Hands up…. F–k.”

Multiple shots then ring out.

The 27-second video was posted on the city’s website around 5 p.m. Thursday.

The driver, identified by family Thursday as Dolal Idd, 23, appears to have an object in his hand at one point in the video, but it is unclear if the first shot came from his vehicle.

Minneapolis police have not said whether a gun was recovered from the vehicle, but sources told WCCO-TV that there was.

Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo said during a briefing that the department would release the footage in an effort to be transparent.

Police said cops were trying to detain Idd, but have not provided details on why they sought to question him.

A woman in the passenger’s seat during the shooting was not harmed.

The shooting was the first police-involved death in the city since the May 25 in-custody death of George Floyd, whose death helped spark global Black Lives Matter protests.
