Gbajabiamila laments insecurity in Nigeria

Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the Home of Representatives, on Thursday decried the extent of insecurity in Nigeria.

He mentioned all arms of presidency should work collectively to deal with the safety challenges.

Gbajabiamila mentioned Nigeria is experiencing vital inner safety challenges which have disrupted the lives of a lot of its residents.

He expressed disappointment over the lack of lives and property on a big scale.

The Speaker famous that the challenges have been threatening the very existence of the Nigerian state.

“Throughout the three arms of presidency, now we have a shared accountability to take all vital actions to satisfy these challenges head-on, that is what the individuals who elected us rightly count on.

“Nationwide safety is known to be the protect of the chief arm of presidency. Because of this, most people have no idea what the legislative position in nationwide safety is, or should be.’’

The lawmaker confused that realities of the second required the willingness to talk with honesty concerning the issues the nation had not acquired proper.
