Complete NFL playoffs schedule under new expanded format in 2021

Everything has been different during this 2020 NFL season and that won’t change in the playoffs.

As part of a new collective bargaining agreement agreed to with the NFLPA in April, the NFL added a seventh playoff team in each conference.

This new format eliminates a bye and adds two extra games to wild-card weekend, setting up triple-headers on Saturday and Sunday. The Kansas City Chiefs got the bye in the AFC and the Green Bay Packers in the NFC.

The Washington Football Team claimed the final playoff spot — and the NFC East title — by beating the Eagles on Sunday night. The Browns ended their 17-year playoff drought by defeating the rival Steeler en route to a wild-card spot and a rematch with Pittsburgh next week.

The Tennessee Titans, having already secured a playoff berth with a Miami Dolphins loss, won the AFC South with a 41-38 victory over the Texans on a game-winning field goal by Sam Sloman that clanged off the upright. The Ravens and Rams also clinched playoff spots on the final day of the regular season.

Josh Allen and the Bills will play the Colts to open the NFL playoffs on Saturday.
