Ex-NFL player Mark Walton pees himself in footage from Pizza Hut arrest

This is not a good look for former Dolphins running back Mark Walton.

Walton — in newly released police footage, obtained by TMZ, from a January arrest at a Miami Pizza Hut — can be seen arguing with cops amid an alleged altercation with his cousin. While handcuffed on the ground in a parking lot, Walton urinated in his pants after asking for permission from police to do so.

The situation stemmed from a confrontation between Pizza Hut employees and Walton, who claimed one of the staffers called him a “f–k n—a” over the phone. Walton, who said he initially ordered delivery for his family, became frustrated when Pizza Hut apparently canceled his order, and therefore drove to the establishment to discover the worker who “disrespected” him.

Upon arrival, Walton “started banging on the windows trying to pull on the door to gain entry to the business to confront one of the employees,” according to the initial report.

The video footage shows a then-23-year-old Walton (now 24) in a heated back-and-forth with employees while police questioned him about the situation.

At one point, Walton said to officers: “You don’t know who I am! I don’t care! I’m about money!”

The altercation seemed to simmer down when Walton walked away from the Pizza Hut window — until police found his cousin on the ground, bleeding in the parking lot of the restaurant.

When asked what happened, Walton denied putting his hands on his cousin, who he claimed grabbed him during the parking lot scuffle. Police later added in the video that Walton’s cousin was attempting to keep him out of trouble.

As a result of the incident, Walton faced two charges of misdemeanor trespassing and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, according to TMZ, which reported Walton reached a deal with prosecutors last month to have the case closed.

Walton is no stranger to the legal system, and has a lengthy rap sheet that extends back to early 2019.

The Bengals selected Walton with a fourth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He appeared in 14 games for Cincinnati as a rookie, but was released by the team on April 6, 2019, following three offseason arrests.

Nearly two months after his release, Walton signed with the Dolphins and ran for 201 yards in seven games. Miami released the running back after his legal woes continued. The University of Miami product didn’t appear in any NFL games in 2020.

It’s unlikely Walton, a free agent, will suit up in the NFL after his latest arrest.
